Clyde Edwards-Helaire fantasy, The Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is just two seasons into his career in the National Football League, but he has already missed 10 of his 33 possible starts while failing to make an impact in any area. His performance improved steadily from Weeks 3-4 in 2021 (back-to-back games in which he rushed for 100 yards – 17/100 and 14/102, with a combined four receptions for 21 yards and two touchdowns), including back-to-back games in which he gained 100 yards. Unfortunately for Edwards-Helaire, he sustained a left knee injury (MCL sprain) on July 13, which cut his performance short and caused him to miss five games. When Edwards-Helaire returned to the pitch for a total of five games, his previous role had been reduced, and his statistics were unremarkable (281 combined yards with four touchdowns and 11 catches). In late December, he had shoulder pain that prevented him from starting three more games (one in the postseason).
In the 23 games that Edwards-Helaire has participated in, he has accumulated 1,726 total yards, 11 total touchdowns, 55 receptions, and 355 total touches (15.4 per game). These statistics, when translated to fantasy points in PPR leagues (293.3 – 12.77 per week), present an unexpected picture of him being a top-tier RB2 over the last two seasons assuming he played a whole year in each of those seasons.
Edwards-injury Helaire’s history and the acquisition of Ronald Jones to the Chiefs’ running back depth chart led to his receiving the 27th ranking at running back in the early draught season for the NFFC, with an average draught position of 78. The fantasy forecast for Edwards-Helaire is as follows: There is little question that the Kansas City Chiefs will use at least two different running backs during the course of this season. Although I’m not a big admirer of Edwards-Helaire, I will admit that he does participate in an offence that has the ability to score a lot of points and sells for a low price. At the absolute least, the Chiefs should give him 15 touches a week, which should result in 1,300 total yards with 6-8 touchdowns and around three receptions a game. However, in order for Edwards-Helaire to accomplish these ambitious expectations, he must remain healthy. Clyde Edwards-Helaire fantasy.
